While watching tv the other night I looked down and saw my girlfriend’s 12 year old Chocolate Lab, Daisy, sleeping so peacefully on one of her beds. I was feeling pretty comfortable myself but finally convinced myself to get up and get the camera. Recently Daisy was diagnosed with cancer and we don’t know exactly how much longer she’ll be around so I wanted to make sure I capture some of these moments before she’s gone. She woke up with all my moving around, so I just lay down on the floor in front of her until she slowly nodded back off to sleep.
