These are some dogs currently available for adoption at MDAS. Visit http://www.miamidade.gov/animals/adopt-a-pet.asp to learn more about how to adopt these guys. FYI, MDAS is a kill shelter, which means these dogs do not have a lot of time.

Animal Services has a HUGE field adjacent to the building. It’s a great place to take the large breed dogs for their photos. It also gives them a chance to run around a bit. I usually don’t photograph as many dogs when I’m working out in the field because some of the time is spent just letting them run around and be dogs. They are in their kennels almost the whole time they are at the pound so this is a way to help them get some exercise and be free for a little bit. 🙂
