Hi! I'm John Bouma. This business is named after 2 of my cats, the late Max and Norman.

I've been a pet photographer for about 12 years. In the beginning of my career I found that volunteering my time in the animal rescue community as a photographer was a great way to hone my skills and give back at the same time. I continue to volunteer my photography skills with local animal rescues and shelters in an effort to help find homes for homeless animals. Out of this passion my career as a pet photograph started as well.

I often get asked - "Do you photograph people too?" The answer is yes! I have a separate photograph business in which I focus on family portraits, event photograph, maternity photography and corporate headshots. You can learn more about that here - www.johnbouma.com.

I currently live with my 7 rescued cats - Ruby, Stanley, Cali, Libby, Leela, Blueberry & Cherry.
